Le Club Deportivo Palestino a été fondé le 20 août 1920 par des immigrants palestiniens au Chili. Le club occupe une place particulière au sein de la communauté palestinienne au Chili et est devenu un nom bien établi dans le football chilien, avec plusieurs titres en Primera División.

Au fil des années, Palestino est devenu bien plus qu’un simple club de football.
